My first trip to Mexico was to a Five Start, an All-Inclusive hotel in Cancun. Spending ten days in the same place, doing the same thing, wasn't my ideal vacation. I managed to convince my husband to take the public bus to Playa Del Carmen. He was terrified! That day spent in Playa Del Carmen, although too short, was the best part of my vacation. The city is vibrant, artistic and has terrific restaurants. I've always wanted to go back. It took me ten years to go back. In March 2019, after a long hard winter in Montreal, I planned a trip with my son to Playa Del Carmen. When some of my friends and family found out that we were going to Mexico, they wanted to accompany us. Here is a glimpse into our marvellous week in Playa Del Carmen and Cozumel.
