About

I was born in Haiti and raised in Montreal when my family immigrated to Canada in the mid-1970s. Initially studying Business Administration and then Marketing Management, I decided to enroll in a couple of Art Classes while pregnant with my first child. With a passion for writing, arts and culture, I then decided to complete a Major in Art History with a Minor in Fine Arts at the University of Québec à Montreal.

My work consists of Landscapes, Still Life and large Mixed Media compositions where I use collage and photomontage. I am interested in the pictorial possibilities of magazine clippings and manipulated photographs. Although minimalist in appearance, some of my mixed media paintings are light and poetic, characterized by bright and vivid colours drawn from my cultural background.

I am fortunate to travel this beautiful world, connect with people, and document my passion through my creative expressions. I draw my inspiration from my travels while following the footsteps of many artists that came before me. I want to share my passion for Art, Culture and Travel, hopefully inspiring you to create and explore this beautiful world.
